Using Ctrl+FX to access to the different opened terminals

Hi!
A very interesting functionality that could be implemented could be having direct access to the different opened terminals using Ctrl+FX (directly, without doing anything else). Probably it would be interesting thinking on two cases:
Case 1. Change between tabs (Ctrl+FX)
Case 2. Change between splitted views (another key combination?)

Interesting feature.
Ctrl + FX is limited to 10 tabs. I you do sysadmin, you'll have much than that.
I suggest something like:
Hold a key, like CTRL, and you see a number replacing each tab name, start typing a number, and the relevant number is hilighted figure by figure.
Careful though. On some non QWERTY keyboards, you need to hold SHIFT to be able to enter numbers.
