Bug Description

Terminal doesn't have to be text only.

We can leverage the mouse in several ways :

- clicking on a url open it in a browser
- clicking on a printed path with middle click open a new tab with a shell in that folder
- we can display the current path at the top of the terminal (like nautilus) and browse files by cliking on parts of the path bar or use history back and forward arrows.
- clicking on the middle of a command move the cursor at that place (avoid to use ctrl + e and alike).

This is not meant to replace keyboard usage, but rather a nice support to it. We got hundreds of keys, laser mouses and multi touch screens, let's use them.

Don't forget mouse gestures.
irssi has a mouse gesture plugin, which also won't work without mouse support.

Mouse gesture is typically the kind of feature that is hard to
implement, and used by few users. I understand why you want it, but if
you watch people using webbrowsers, everybody uses back buttons, most
uses bookmarks, some uses the history but only people like you and me
use mouse gesture. Even among IT guys, it's uncommon.
