Terminator window disappears when mouse is clicked

Hello,

I have recently installed terminator on my machine running Ubuntu 18.04.

The problem is that terminator windows disappear whenever I:
-Click outside the terminal
-Click on the minimize button
-Click on the Title bar
-Try to select the terminal to move it around

The only button that is working is the resize button, also clicking on the content area is doing no harm.
Selecting or clicking on anything else will close the terminal.

After crashing, there is still a terminator process running.

I really want that to be fixed because I'm in love with terminator and its features.

Hello, Yasmine, can you give some more information please?

* terminator version;
* version of Ubuntu package;
* desktop environment version;
* logs of terminator ran in debug mode ('--debug' flag);
* some other hints that can help to reproduce this behaviour.
