Working directory when starting is not home directory

Bug Description

My home directory `/home/gbonnema` is a `ln -s` link to `/home/data/gbonnema` in order to get my home directory to a different harddisk (away from the ssd). This causes terminator to start in the `linked to directory` in stead of ~.

To compensate I added --working-directory=~ in the shortcut, but I wonder whether this is intended behaviour or miscalculated due to the link.

Kind regards, Guus.
