Background not transparent with GNOME 3.22

Bug Description

I'm using GNOME 3.22 and Terminator. I had a setup with transparent background, but since the last update, it doesn't works, only when Terminator is on second plane.

Terminator 1.9

Try testing the head of the gtk3 branch. A lot of changes (https://bugs.launchpad.net/terminator/+bug/1599453) went in to fixing the transparency for that reporter. Also, please state what widget theme you are using.

Even more additions since my previous comment.

Can you check with an up-to-date branch with rev. 1714. That rev is merging in a change for GTK 3.20+ where CSS selectors now have to use nodes. If over-zealous the CSS rendering can override the background transparency. Hopefully the cumulative changes have fixed this for everyone now... till Gnome devs decide they want to toss everything up into the air again.
