Bug Description
I'm trying out the new 1.90 branch. When opening a new tab, it always puts me in ~. It seems this is because the freebsd module is failing to load libc. On FreeBSD (10.3, in my case), /usr/lib/libc.so is a linker script, not a symlink/binary. The attached patch should do the trick.
