Bug Description
If I display text and scroll backwards in some cases terminator leaves a big blank space instead of the text; see attached images. This doesn't happen with either xterm or xfce-terminal so I think it's terminator that's the culprit.
How to repeat:
1) Open a brand new terminator window
2) sudo journalctl -n 500
3) scroll right to the bottom (just pressing space)
4) press up arrow once
Observed behavour:
After (3) all is ok (see the prescroll.png) but after pressing up arrow
once a lot of the lines disappear (see postscroll.png).
Version: terminator-

I can reproduce it (with a 80x50-ish tall window) with terminator 0.98, but not with the gtk3 branch. Seems like a bug in vte-0.28 that is fixed in vte-0.38+. Could you please try the gtk3 version (https:/ /code.launchpad .net/~gnome- terminator/ terminator/ gtk3)?
