Bug Description

Hi,

since today when I try to start terminator it starts up an infinite amount of terminator processes (as much as my machine has available RAM) and won't show any window.

I'm running Linux Mint 18 with Cinnamon desktop.
Here is a gist for complete system info:
https://gist.github.com/MarkusAmshove/492c01ea471786be60abbb365035e14e

If I start terminator with the -d flag it won't show any output.

I tried the extra mile, getting the latest trunk of Terminator, and had an error on that version that psutil was missing. I installed it and was able to start the trunk version of Terminator. I still can't start the version I've installed via apt-get.

Here is a short gif to see what is happening:

Is this still an issue. It sounds more like a messed up package, especially if you're not even getting a single line with -d. It's not 100% clear from this, but what were the actual versions of Terminator?
