blinking cursor does not invert colour of the character it is on

Bug Description

ubuntu 15.10 gnome 3.16
terminator 0.98

It seems to only invert colours when using the settings white text on black background or black text on white background. When other colour schemes are used the blinking cursor, being the same colour as the text, makes editing text difficult since I can only see the character under the cursor every other blink.

Hi, when you change the cursor color to a different value to the foreground of the theme then a limitation of libvte is that it flashes the cursor with the new colour, but does not XOR the colour of the text itself. Getting the cursor colour back to the foreground can be a little tricky, so after 0.98 a feature was added to Terminator to allow you to select foreground or custom for the cursor colour. Alternatively you can go into the ./config/terminator/config file and remove the "cursor_color" entry from the profile. This cannot be "fixed" in Terminator, only the libvte component. Marking as "Won't Fix". Please raise with libvte if you want custom colours of cursors to behave differently.
