A patch that just need some small modifications to be a select-all shortcut.

I'm going to edit the description and add several other shortcuts that are missing, but should be relatively easy to do.

@Stephen have you made the modification for this to be a a select-all shortcut? I just did so on my local machine and it works just fine. What steps must be taken to merge in such a patch?
I've provided one doing what you described (off of 1.91-0~1770~ubuntu16.04.1)
