Bug Description
This is an issue if geometry is set in the default layout (which happens any time you save it). Any time you launch a new instance is uses the default layout, if no other is specified, so this renders the --geometry option useless as its always over-ridden.
It can be fixed by removing the geometry in the config, but this is not ideal, since there is nothing to indicate it has saved the size there.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open terminator
2. Resize window
3. Preferences-
4. open terminator with the --geometry option set.
Desired Behaviour:
--geometry should take preference over size/position set in layout (unless specified with -l ?)

0.98 is old. I can't remember; is DBus enabled? Does turning it off change the behaviour?
