Bug Description

It would be great to add pulldown mode, that is show/hide via DE global key shortcut as yakuake/guake/tilda do.

You can already do this... sort of. If you have 0.98 you *should* also have the manual that should open with F1 by default.

Expand the "Frequently Asked Questions" section, then "How do I..." section, and click on the "...make Terminator work like Quake style terminals?"

There is guidance how to do it, and warnings about limitations and issues. Like I say in the manual, it is (for me at least) very frustrating because it's a bit (OK, a lot) of a kludge.

I'm going to mark this as Invalid. If you try working through it and find problems, raise specific bugs for each issue you encounter. Like I say though, there are some real pain points.

Changed in terminator:
status: New → Invalid

Got it, thanks! In fact, I don't get even flicking as far as window manager animates window life cycle by fading in/out (pulling down itself isn't needed at all).

There is another issue - can not start the app hidden (Window state is set to Hidden, and --hidden option were tried), but it is another story.
