Bug Description
Hello,
After trying to upgrade my terminator version I see temporary dirs in the tarball:
doc/manual/_build
doc/apidoc/_build
This cause that I have the each documentation installed twice.

Errr. no you don't. You have two seperate sets of documentation (manual and apidoc) that are different. Each of those contains two "versions" - the source ReStructured text in the source dir, and the output HTML in the _build/html dir). Both are included as a workaround for the fact that the nightlies would be broken if we tried to build the HTML from the rst files, because it requires installing an updated RTD document template and sphinx application, and uses pip to pull those from online. RTD template is not in Ubuntu at all, and RTD requires a newer Sphinx than is installed in the repo. So generating the HTML from the source rst is not possible using a nightly build created by the build farms, so for convenience the documentation is pre-built and included in the main package.
Of course if someone can provide a patch to make all that work, it will be gratefully received, but for now I don't see an immediate solution so it will remain as is, in the interests of providing documentation to PPA users.
