Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open terminator
2. Split horizontally or vertically
3. Double-click on one of the terminals titles to rename it
4. Grab the selected edit box around
Tried with the trunk version.
Debug output attached; last line is just before the segfault.

Step 4 is not clear to me. You mean I drag the selected text with left-click-drag? That works OK for me. Please clarify if I've misunderstood.
I see from the debug output that you look to have the "Window geometry hints" on. Does it still crash if you turn them off?
If you still have the issue, you'll need to provide more info about your system. Distro, desktop environment etc.
