Bug Description
hi,
... i'm using terminator with xmonad and cannot re-size terminator windows properly.
it starts flashing and randomly re-sizing it self until i unfloat (sink) the window when i re-size it with the mouse to its minimum size.
also happens when i try fixed re-sizing with through a shortcut... in this case after being set to its new size it starts shrinking it self step by step until i unfloat it.
i wrote my own customized xmonad... it is possible that my own code is not perfect and helping on this strange behavior... but is also a fact that terminator is the only application that behaves like this: something must be wrong with it.
the problem with the mouse i have with wheezy and jessie/ubuntu.
the problem with the keyboard only exists in jessie/ubuntu.
while is rare that i bump to the mouse problem... i rely extensively on the my shortcut-ted fixed re-sizes.
this newly acquired bug is what's keeping me from upgrading.

yap, that's it: just disable "window geometry hints".
would then suggest that it be the default behavior.
