Bug Description

please refer to https://github.com/ssokolow/quicktile/issues/41

summary: quicktile.py is a window resize/relocation tool written in python. When used on Terminator, terminator enters a resize loop and resizes smaller and smaller until minimums are reached. as per ssokolow's research, terminator may not be working with Xfwm properly.

This can be reproduced with Terminator and XFCE only ; using quicktile.py from https://github.com/ssokolow/quicktile . My Terminator version is 0.97-4 from debian testing repositories. My XFCE is version 4.10 from debian unstable repositories.

This is almost certainly the Prefs->Global->Window geometry hints feature misbehaving. Try turning it off; it will probably fix the issue.

I suspect Terminator is doing something odd with this turned on. It has caused numerous problems with numerous window managers too.

Solved! Works perfectly with this option off. Thank you! I've lived with this over a year and I never suspected it was that easy.
