Bug Description

I didn't see a place for feature requests, and this is definitely a feature request. I hope this is the right place for it.

iTerm2 on the Mac allows you to switch profiles by printing out certain escape sequences (https://code.google.com/p/iterm2/wiki/ProprietaryEscapeCodes). I find it extremely useful and wish I could have something that worked similarly on Linux.

I hope you'll add this to Terminator in the future.

Thanks.

Hi, I'm pretty sure that this is something that must be requested from the libvte project. We simply embed their terminal emulator. It is this component that need to recognise the escape sequence. It may then either switch profile itself, or raise a signal. I'm not sure which would be correct.
