Bug Description

I am using the latest 0.97 version on KUbuntu 14.04. A problem i am having here is that Terminator works well in tabs and single screen. The moment i use split screen i am fine until i want to simultaneous type in multiple parts of my screen. Whatever i type in the main window gets typed multiple times (twice most often) in the other screens.

I suspect it has something to do with KUbuntu 14.04 since my 13.10 system has no issues at all.

If i can do something to make the issue more clear let me know, i am not a programmer nor extremely linux savvy, but i love using Terminator.

Okay, i ran into an old bug for Ubuntu that was the same (never saw it before or i would not have posted the bug here). It seems that IBUS in KUbuntu 14.04 is still a problem. I removed it and since it works fine.

I guess this confirms two things
1: It is a bug, but not in terminator
2: IBUS is the cause.

Now to find out what ibus does to make sure i don't need it.
