Configurable default profile

Bug Description

Let's say i have more custom profiles. Currently one is set by default by changing default layout.
Each time I use split or open new tab, the "default" profile is used. We should be able to configure this and use a custom profile if desired. As seen on some github repos of color themes, people are currently overwriting the default settings for Default profile.

So here's a a quick follow-up question: Is it better to have a new configuration option which sets this, or would it be better to inherit the profile of the current terminal (like how we have "Split to this group") Personally I think the default profile should be the default, with the option to inherit. In fact I had something on my ideas list that would have probably included this:
Split with command / Inherit command/workdir/groups etc
As and when I got to this I would more than likely included Profile in the split inheritance.

I don't think I quite grasp your options.

As a Terminator usage, I expect to have the same appearance when splitting the terminal or opening a new tab. I would also like to easily shift from one Profile to another and keep it that way for longer time without fiddling with Profile settings.
