Some tests bypass abstraction for obtaining admin creds/clients

Bug Description

The fingerprints of this issue are direct calls to AdminManager and cred_provider.get_configured_credentials. These pull values from the CONF file and so will not work with test accounts. These two name, and perhaps some others, would also be better named in a way that says they should not be used by code in test classes.

stress and cleaup code still calls AdminManager but these need more fixes to work with test accounts.
