Audio Calls automatically disconnect

Binary package hint: empathy

When using Empathy in Karmic, I am trying to call people by selecting their GTalk contact address and initiating an audio call. When I call it tries to connect and then says that it has disconnected in the status bar. I have tried calling a few people and tried to have them call me, each with the same result.

This is Empathy 2.27.5 in Karmic.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

Here is the gabble log. I failed to start mission control: there was only mission-control-5 binary, it's output was:

Have not tested in lucid as i have not made any calls from empathy but I faced this in karmic.

It will be fixed in empathy 2.30.1

Empathy has been updated to 2.20.1 in Ubuntu 10.04, so the task is fixed.
