seems partly reproductible being connected using empathy and telepathy-butterfly, right clicking on some items in nautilus or on the desktop, choose "send to" and select some option (not particularly telepathy linked)

in my case the error still succeding...
maybe because i use 2 messenger accounts?
Testing in VirtualBox lastest over win7(in Acer Aspire 7720G laptop)

no steps: just at boot of Ubuntu
first thing that i see in the screen is background and error window...
maybe 'cause i have more than one account of msn?

Thank you for your bug report. could you add an empathy debug log it would help us to debug the issue?
You can get it in the empathy help, debug dialog by selecting butterfly in the combo, check for informations you don't want to share before adding it there though and clean those or just copy the chunk before the crash

I have this bug as well and using empathy the error report box keeps on popping up every couple of minutes. I saw many duplicate bugs on this issue. I hope the issue will be resolved soon. See attached apport report.
