Blank screen when tapping on notification IOS

I have an issue on iOS, with the latest version of telegram installed (has been ongoing for a few versions now)

Sometimes when i tap on a notification from telegram on the lock screen/notification center it brings me to a black screen, showing nothing. This can be resolved by restarting the app. Are there any ideas for a fixes or is this a known bug? I have submitted this to volunteer support a few months ago but they haven't got back to me.

Ubuntu Phone
