Images in conversation not sent

When I take a picture with the camera to send it with Telegram, sometimes the image is shown then in the conversation. The white bar during uploading is going up to 100%, but in the bottom right corner the "clock" symbol keeps to be present on the photo and there does no tick appear that the image is actually sent.

The image is then neither seen by the conversation partner, nor by myself by checking the conversation over the Telegram cloud e.g. at the computer.

The problem also arises with stable and fast WIFI connection.
