Contact Name missing in list of chats for secret chats

Action Taken:
Launch Telegram and obtain list of active chats

Observed Result:
Secret Chats have no contact name associated with them.

Expected Result:
Secret Chats should display contact name in list.

I can't reproduce this problem. Is it possible this secret chat was carried over from v1 version or was it a new one?

It seems it affects a discarded chat. Does it also affect a regular (still valid) secret chat for you as well?

Thanks for the prompt follow-up. I can confirm that this affects current chats, i.e. any chats created after the upgrade from v1 to v2.

I have a separate issue with a "phantom" secret chat that was carried over. Will file a separate bug for that one.

I just found out that my telegram has started a similar behavior yesterday.
It looks like it can't fetch contact names from my device correctly, and for some contacts it shows either their number, or a name that I guess they have entered in their own telegram accounts.
Either way it should show names that I entered in my contacts, and it doesn't.

I heave pulled latest from main trunk and tried numerous of possible causes to try and reproduce; However I haven't been able to.
I have seen this before but that was about a month ago and haven't seen it again since.

I can not reproduce the issue for now with 2.2.16.0,
so this is not a "Confirmed".

I just confirmed that, but for this bug,
it is under monitoring by me,
to find a further reproduce steps.

Could you provide more information about this bug?
Our members could not reproduce this symptom well with latest version 2.2.16.0.
