Bug Description

After Upgrading the Telegram App on my BQ Aquaris 5 there are no more system notifications about incoming Telegram Messages. This is the same if the App is closed or open.

Also the icon in dash area (left hand side) of the screen does not display unread messages count any more.

The phone is on OTA 7, stable channel.

Please ensure Menu -> Settings -> Notifications is toggled ON. For this, you need to be signed in to your U1 account. Please let me know if this helped.

I just noticed that a notification about a received message came in about an hour late, with the message already having been read about the same time ago. A second notification for another message just got in with about 30 minutes delay - again the message in question was already read some time ago and should not have caused a notification IMHO.

I actually have noticed delays before sporadically - some more messages that got in while writing this were honoured by immediate notification.

Marking this bug as invalid, as there ARE notifications and unread count.

Thank you for the quick response, you are a star!

Alexander, it seems there is an issue, might be somewhere lower. There should be a bug soon under canonical-devices-system-image soon about this. Thanks
