Bug Description
I can send and receive videos ok. When i send a video , if I click on the preview to watch it, it displays fine. On receiving videos from another Ubuntu phone the video displays black but audio is heard.

pulling the video from the .cache folder, it plays fine in the pc

mm this could be a regression on the system.. copying the video back to /home/phablet/

ok, I can confirm this is a mako only problem

Since this is on maco and we're fully focused right now, I'm (at least temporarily) decreasing importance to Medium.

Unless someone can confirm the problem still persists on mako, we shall invalidate this bug soon.

Maybe this the same or similar as bug 1512090?
I found that playing videos sent from android phones (of course, via Telegram), but i thought that the blame could be due to a lack in codec handling


The video plays find on the device sent (ubuntu) and on receipt on webogram
