Bug Description

Perhaps this is more of a feature request than a bug.. I have noticed that if I place a customized config in /etc/skel/ and use the Systemback Installer to install a new user from a created ISO with the 'Copy User Data' checkbox cleared it copies the files from /etc/skel/ properly but they retain their root ownership from the skel folder.. So for instance unless the files in /etc/skel/ have the permissions set to 777 it is impossible for the new user to write new configs because the files are still owned by root. Even setting the permissions in /etc/skel/ to 777 isn't ideal because the newly installed users home folder then has mixed ownership in their home folder. I realize this goes a bit beyond just simple backup/restore but I think since Systemback does give the option to copy files from /etc/skel it might be looking into..

I fixed this bug in bzr195 (nemh/systemback-daily), and I will soon update the stable version too (but not now). If you want, just try it and report back. :-)

Wow that was fast! I am using Debian Jessie so I don't use Launchpad or your Ubuntu PPA (I get the packages from your Sourceforge page)... So I can wait for the fix to get into your stable builds... I suppose I could try and build Debian Jessie packages from your BZR source tree but I'm not in that much of a hurry.. Thanks!
