setting the width and height should also alter the viewbox
the units of the viewbox are in 60pixels

looki at the first line of the sif file:
<canvas version="0.9" width="1024" height="728" xres="2834.645752" yres="2834.645752" view-box="-4.000000 2.250000 4.000000 -2.250000" antialias="1"

this sets the view size
view-box="-4.000000 2.250000 4.000000 -2.250000"

at the moment the characters are merging ok, but they are stretched, i think this might be down to the unit setup

Have resolved issue - checking in code now - will update your environment Thursday Evening.

Currently there is an issue with the Queen model - I am aware and will attempt to resolve tommorrow evening.

Have implemented a new function to correctly calulate the synfig geometry based on screen size. The segsty link resource proved invaluable in resolving this issue.
