when running the application the terminal window for the Stage service should remain open. This is the service which handles requests such as build scene etc. This terminal should also show any error messages. Can you add any error messages from this terminal to the bug please?

thanks

seem like chromium was blicking pop ups
disabling pop ups opens a new window with the following url:
localhost:800/cgi-bin/download,py?download=eb8eeb7c-5839-433f-b915-5d677a877854
terminal window remains empty
nothing else happens

When executing as an icon, the terminal doesn't seem to show python output - which I will look into. With regard to the TeamViewer session this evening. I have pulled the character files back from your dropbox store, and I have resolved some issues relating to layers missing desc settings. However I have also noticed that I am unable to load the Guard1.sif file, this is due to a canvas issue, as was identified on the Synfig site [http://www.synfig.org/issues/thebuggenie/synfig/issues/465].

I have been able to create a scene with the robot, the queen and guard2, and have attached the scene here .

There is still a bug (which) I will raise regarding dealing with single chars in a scene, and the code could do with some refactoring (quite a lot of refactoring - some decent class design etc) but that will have to wait for another day.

closing this ticket as there was a problem with some of the source data. tagging this as Won't fix. I'm not keen on this status, as it suggests that there is a problem and I'm too stubborn to fix it - I'd prefer a "Not really a problem"
