syncing should happen automatically/repeatedly

I have my device set up to sync the calendar with google calendar. This works fine for manual syncs. However, it doesn't sync automatically. This causes me to miss meetings because I haven't manually synced my device after they were created or act on changes to a calendar entry way too late.

Expected: A change in the online google calendar should automatically appear in the phone calendar within a reasonable amount of time.
