Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

It would be nice to have a 'retry' option for things like synaptic, update-manager, gdebi, for the occasions where the database lock error occurs, so the user can have the option to wait (if needed) and close the other offending program/process.

It's a pet peeve of mine :)

If there was an olympic sport 'forget to close one synaptic before opening another' I would win gold every time ;)

/me gets down on her knees and begs for this feature
