Bug Description

on choosing the packages to install, it uses 100% of CPU for longer period of time (than it uses to before I update to karmic) , and also when I choose to apply the changes, and sends these error msg to terminal:

(synaptic:9887): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_view_unref_tree_helper: assertion `node != NULL' failed

** (synaptic:9887): CRITICAL **: clearlooks_style_draw_box_gap: assertion `height >= -1' failed
