Updates shouldn't need to access to home directory

When I try to update the package list I have an error message that he can't access to home directory.
Than he say me every day that my package list is outdated probably due a network problem (I'm in French than it's an approximate translation).

Thanks in advance to fix it or give me a workaround.

PS: my home directors in on an NFS storage with root_squash.
