Graphic artifacts

OS: Ubuntu 11.10
Session: Gnome 3 Classic
Windows Manager: Compiz
Synapse: 0.2.8.2

I experiencing some graphic artifacts with Synapse (see attached images).

This is indeed very annoying, and I can't decide if it's a problem with compiz or synapse itself.

Perfectly the same here. Almost every built-in theme got a tiny bug here and there, so I'm assuming the rendering method itself is buggy.
Please fix this, it's unbelievably annoying.

You know what? I installed kubuntu desktop over ubuntu and synapse doesn't have this bug in kde.

It also does not happen with Gala (elementary wm based on libmutter)

Similar problems here on Antergos, running xmonad and compton as compositor. The initial interface is fine, but when I arrow down through the list I get the corruption shown in the second image.
