Suspending with Synapse won't lock the screen

Bug Description
Throughout the system, suspending involves locking the screen. You can try it with indicator-session or by pressing the Power button and selecting 'Suspend'. Synapse's suspend command doesn't do this. The main concern here is consistency and security, as I am sure that many users expect 'Suspend' to behave the same way all the time.
A minor issue here would also be that suspending with Synapse simply turns off the screen and suspends the system, while doing it with the aforementioned methods gives a smooth fade to black, and then suspension.
