please index bookmarks of nautilus/gnome and prefer them over files or directories.

The file ~/.gtk-bookmarks contains all the bookmarks for gtk/nautilus, so that should be parsed.
For me it contains some bookmarks pointing to GVFS mounts (various remote FTP/SFTP locations) that i would love to access through Synapse. I don't know if this is possible.
