Bug Description
Synapse 0.2.99.2
Xubuntu 16.04
Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS
Linux hostname 4.15.0-39-generic #42~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Oct 24 17:09:54 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
As described in the summary, Synapse can find PDF documents with no problem, but won't open them. So far this is the only file-type I've found exhibiting that issue, but might not be the only one.
The problem appeared after installing Foxit PDF Reader and rolling back to Evince as default PDF viewer. I'm not sure whether synapse uses xdg-open to open files. I'm guessing it might be a broken file-type association in my system that I would fix to bypass the problem.

Hello, i have also this 'bug', and I found something. If you open Synapse, then you type to search a pdf file so you can see the name of your pdf.
You can press 'TAB' and 'DOWN ARROW' to select 'open' instead of 'run'.
It's easier to observe with the 'Virgilio' theme.
