Switching to a VPN misconfigured makes disappear previous VPN

Bug Description
If you are connected to a VPN and you click on another VPN to get connected to another and this latter connection fails, the previously VPN is not shown anymore in the list and disappears from the list not being clickable again.

I can confirm that this error is not appearing if getting manually disconnected from the VPN before trying the change.
