Disable comboboxes with only one option

Bug Description

On the Default tab, we probably should disable comboboxes that only have one item in them. This would prevent someone from trying to change it to then only realize that there are no other options.

The one downside to this is if it's not clear _why_ the combobox is disabled. I'm open to discussion.

My first thought was to hide the option, but following the HIG, there's something the user can do to enable it (install another app of that type).

Changed in switchboard-plug-applications:
assignee: nobody → elementary UX (elementary-design)

If there's only one option, could just show icon + label, as shown here with email.

I would love to implement this, but as a new dev. Is there any easy way to get the list of applications that can be used for a specific category ?
