Bug Description
Freya on Vostro 1510, using Chrome.
I open the Chrome Web Store on Chrome and the display crashes after the page is opened. Sometimes, not consistently, after the screen goes black, the OS reverts to a display-less session of the OS, asking me to log in in a terminal form.
Running x-session-manager or gnome-session will not start the display.

Found a solution or workaround:
1. Type chrome://settings in Chrome's address bar and hit enter.
2. Then go to the bottom of that page and click on Show Advanced Settings.
3. Then go to nearly the bottom of the new page and see if "Use hardware acceleration when available" is ticked. If it is, try the Web Store after you untick that setting and restart Chrome.
