jankins gate/tox fails with Assertion Error at ｐｙcparser

We're now hitting a bug that we cannot run unit/func tests at the gerrit gate. Looking at the jenkins gate results with my testing patch (just one line added to docs)[1], it seems to be related to xattr packages[2].

It looks this one is related to http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2016-October/104909.html. So it may be not only Swift problem.
