Distinguishing between/comparing pawprints and tiles?

Bug Description

At some point we will have nor only pawprints, but also tiles (made by combining pawprints). These are also data products and need to 'go into SVMT'.

Questions:

1) Once the tiles are in, how can we distinguish between tiles and pawprints in SVMT?
2) If we put in provenance information (to know which pawprints went into a tile), can this be used somehow in SVMT?

The tiles will be treated as a data product just like the pawprints. To distinguish between them, we could use the "subType" field and give values such "pawprintImage", "catalog", "tileImage"

For the second question, provenance query is nor yet implemented in SVMT but is planned. We need more input on how to integrate the feature though.. One idea was to click on the corresponding entry in the list to open its detailed information and add a button for creating a new layer with the corresponding provenance.

Changed in svmt:
status: New → Confirmed
importance: Undecided → Wishlist

Ad 1) Oh right, there is the sub type/data product type. I hadn't thought of that. That should do the trick.
Ad 2) I like that idea!
