I own a PC-Chips M811LU motherboard, at least to what I remember. My problem is the hibernate does not work to anything that I tried on the forums.
1. I hit hibernate pc seems to be saving to the drive.
2. I hit the power button on the tower again. Pc turns on, shows the bios screen, proceeds to do something.
3. Monitors power button turns from green to orange and blinks.
4. Computer continues to run but any button or mouse move does not wake it up.
5. I hit hard reset to reboot pc without hibernate.
My graphic card is a Nvidia fx 5200 running the 3d driver.
I'm not sure what else I can provide other then it is not working correctly. Let me know and i'll upload it here for you.
I tried on all recent releases of ubuntu even the current one running intrepid-ibex. |

I'm not sure why but after few days the bug has returned. I did update from apt-get all the latest changes. Perhaps enabling "nvidia" 3rd party caused the regression. Just letting everyone know, the bug has again reared its ugly head. |
