Impossible to delete account

It's possible to delete a Supporter Profile, but not the Drupal account.
If there is an option which I overlooked, then it must be very misplaced.

This bug could probably be fixed with bug #525515 if the two accounts were linked.

 The support points map is a Drupal module. Users management is provided by Drupal.

AFAIK, Drupal doesn't provide a "delete account" feature. The feature will be available on Drupal 7 and modules exists for Drupal 6. See http://drupal.org/node/8 and http://groups.drupal.org/node/18492.

I'm quite surprised that Drupal devs didn't solve this ages ago!

Does the "Won't Fix" status imply that the feature will not be provided via a module until Drupal 7?

This bug is "Won't Fix" because this will not be fixed in the spport points map module. I don't plan to add the feature on the test site neither. But ff needed/wanted, the feature could be added the Ubuntu-be website using an exising module(but the support.points.map is not the place to discuss this).
