Bug Description

When the option 'Show Window Controls' is active, I enter in the desktop and the panel crash. So I need enter in the Tweeks and active again.
Another problem is because the slingshot-laucher and another aplications like that stay with borders equal a normal aplication.

Unlike OP, my panel doesn't crash, but it does cause slingshot-launcher to show window decor. Confirmed, that this is caused by the show-window-controls functionality. If you disable the option and relog, the problem goes away.

Also, the stable version doesn't have this problem, which leads me to believe, that the "maximus" functionality (removal of window decorations) causes this. The stable version doesn't remove the decor...
