generic "lost connection" is obtuse

Bug Description

subunit has a bad habit of reporting any parse error as "lost connection during test", which makes it very hard to determine what is actually going wrong, especially if the report is coming from another machine, such as <http://babune.ladeuil.net:24842/job/selftest-natty/lastCompletedBuild/consoleText>. It would be more helpful if, firstly, it said something more accurate like "parse error", and secondly if it included some details about just what it disliked.
