block probing crashed with FileNotFoundError

Ubuntu MATE 24.04.2 QA test install (RC)

installed on dc7700 (old BIOS box)
- hp dc7700 (c2d-e6230, 7gb, amd/ati rv610/radeon hd2400 pro/xt)

** description (and setup)

install (full disk/format) of Ubuntu-MATE 24.04.2 was completed; no issues

reboot & this second test was an AUTO-RESIZE or INSTALL-ALONGSIDE type of install

** results

soon after ubuntu-desktop-installer appeared, and was working (ie. username etc details entered, so I assume resize operational) I get a PROBLEM OCCURRED error

I `sudo ubuntu-bug` the error file in `/var/crash` because the system didn't ask for me to report any problem, though one was experienced.. The prior install was (full disk or erase & install) was clean without any messages

Installed as now completed and is asking for me to reboot; I'll test it & see how install went.. but this report I gather was because of a PROBLEM OCCURRED (without any detail) appear early in install

** install was perfect

on reboot; and login to untouched system; it appeared perfect; only changing being less disk space allocated

on reboot & login to newly installed (install.alongside/auto-resize) system; it too appeared perfect

Only issue was error message that a problem had occurred (untidy)
