There should be more in that directory. Of particular interest is the subiquity-server-debug.log file. Since you're installing oracular, could you try running "ubuntu-bug subiquity" in the terminal and re-report your bug with the information that collects?

Chris @cpete - I should have mentioned it in the bug report -- I sent all that I could access. and I also attempted to run "ubuntu-bug subiquity" but was unable to open terminal ..then tried Alt-F2 and run command failed as well. tested another image today and sam crash and no network available.

Hmm it's interesting that "ubuntu-bug subiquity" didn't work on the latest ISOs, but that's a separate problem.

Does "sudo tar -czf /tmp/installer_logs.tar.gz /var/log/installer" fail to archive some of the files?

Sorry - no longer receiving this bug (past 2 or days) and did not run tar - so unable to answer your question.

Tested the daily Ubuntu Oracular Desktop and Server ISO's dated 08-07-2024 with no errors.
