"no space left on device" during installation

I tried to install Ubuntu on a partition but failed. Ubuntu tries to copy an EFI into my Hackintosh partition, which is encrypted by MacOS, so I cannot install Ubuntu.
I don't even care of the EFI partition since I already use rEFInd, why does Ubuntu needs to override the MacOS EFI partition instead of creating a new one?

Thank you for your bug report Could you add the logs from/var/log/installer after getting the problem?

Could you also provide details on your partitioning choices? Did you select manual partitioning and if so can you describe the layout?
